Chapter 1 and 2 musings

I am just wrapping up my chapter two reading and as I reflect back on my teaching experience I am hard pressed to stick with my original claim in my vision statement of objectivist theory having a heavier influence than constructivist theory within education and especially educational technology.

I would have to say that our methods of assessment still tend to be objectivist but that what we are seeing within the classroom on a day to day basis is more a 50/50 blend of the two if not maybe a heavier lean towards constructivist.
